You are invited to network with local dealers, resellers and other Industry professionals at Pints with PowerSource Online! Please join us for a networking evening filled with drinks, hors d’oeuvres and industry knowledge on Tuesday, September 20, 2011.
The inaugural Pints with PowerSource Online is a networking event bringing together IT & Telecom Equipment Industry professionals. In addition, the PowerSource Online Team will be there (I look forward to meeting you!) to listen and learn how we can make our current tools for sourcing, selling and servicing even better for your business. OK, we will technically not have pint glasses… however, there will be plenty of complimentary bottles of beer, wine, soda, water and lots of hors d’oeuvres!
Please feel free to invite a colleague or a friend that would benefit from meeting other local dealers, resellers, recyclers and service companies. Just let us know if you plan on bringing anyone so that we can have enough food!

Accountable Care Organizations:
Will Healthcare Reform Make Healthcare More Efficient?
Some of the goals of the new healthcare reform law — the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) include expanded access to care, higher quality of care and better cost efficiency in delivering that care. One of the vehicles encouraged under the PPACA to help meet the goals of higher quality and better efficiency is the Accountable Care Organization, or ACO. ACOs aren’t new, but as with many things, it isn’t easy to get people to try them unless you force them to. ACOs aren’t mandatory but it might be wise for providers of all kinds to seriously explore how they might utilize these delivery systems to create a successful model for their practice or facility under the healthcare reform. This program will give an overview of ACOs and some of the ideas being discussed for utilizing them under PPACA.
